Originating from Lübeck, North Germany, Piet Lennard Lange is a young musician who found a new home in Leipzig and is an active member of Super Joy Club (recommended cuties) and is now releasing his EP „safe safe“ with us.

How to move on ?

A lot of questions arise and a need to locate oneself again.
 A need to come to terms with what one is and what one was, a time of letting go and of finding access to comfortable thoughts with that new arising situation.  To find the answer to these questions and this new situation Piet found himself recording this EP while also making the plan to travel to his spirit island Amrum in the German North Sea to close this chapter. Unfortunately his actual travel is yet to happen but you can go on a musical journey with him and luckily you may end up close to his spirit island. 
‚safe safe‘ follows the paths of the many self recording artists of today.
Artists who work in their little chamber, only equipped with a computer, guitar and a midi keyboard and start from there to work their path directly from their bedroom to your bedroom or living room. Or wherever you like to listen to music.
 Musically touching the fields of Post 2000’s Indie Rock and Folk Era, pinches of Grizzly Bear arrangements and Deerhunter vibes shine through his songs.
Piet’s fragile soft singing echoes over his guitar pickings, which make up the core for most of his songs.
Complemented with synthesizers, piano and saxophone, his songs partly have a touch of jazz as well.  Furthermore editing subtle sounds like doorbells and tram sounds into his sonic oeuvre, tiny moments of confusion arise and you may ask yourself „What was that ?“

safe safe is an Ep of slow mellow bedroom jams, displaying the view from his window and his inner sonic answers to questions of after relationship life right into your room of convenience.

Maybe you can already smell the ocean.
